Weekly Worship
This semester has really been a blessing for me. God has really opened my eyes to the meaning and the heart of worship — that it is much more than singing. It is all about the heart. There is an emotive vulnerability in worship that really allows us to bear our hearts, to give everything, to God. Someone described to me something this semester that blew me away: God has tons of angels up in heaven that have the most perfect voices and they are always singing praises to Him. But even still God delights in our worship. He wants to hear us. Over all those angels who sing perfectly and beautifully, He still loves hearing us! Wow, that is just incredible!
Well, this song really focuses my heart every time I hear it. God is so awesome and these two lyrics epitomize that, I believe. Listen to the song and just thank God for His steadfastness and His love; they are immeasurable! No matter the trials we face and the troubles we have, God never leaves! He is always right beside us, guiding us. We just need to follow. Even if we run away, if we stray, He is still always there! We just need to run back to His open arms and find comfort. Through this week with finals, I pray that you all do not lose focus and know that God is helping you through. Look to Him for strength!
“Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you. ” -Deuteronomy 31:6
